Production area
The Jamúz Valley is located within the D.O. Tierra de León, in an area of clay soils accompanied by quartz conglomerates. Mild indoor climate. The vineyards are old, centenary, recovered for the production of this wine, and are located in the highest area of the valley.
Grape: Palomino
Winemaking process
Isolated vines in goblet, which are cultivated with traditional methods and organic viticulture.
The pressing is carried out with the whole grape cluster, the stem itself acts as a filter and a cleaner juice is obtained. Removing the lees once a week and aging for 12 months in 500-litre barrels.
Tasting note
“Viña Uta” is a fresh and elegant white, golden yellow with straw tones, apple aroma and a light and friendly body.
Wide spectrum of pairing: meats, sausages, ham, jerky, cheeses, rice dishes and fish.
