Description
Production area
Designation of origin Navarre. On the slopes of the Pyrenees mountains, where Atlantic, Mediterranean and continental climates converge, where the sub-humid, sunny and friendly influence of the Ebro Valley contrasts with the cold, dry violence of the “Cierzo” winds.
The grape comes from the “Los Altos” farm, 31 years old.
Grape: 100% Grenache
Winemaking process
The proximity to France is evident both in the grape variety and in the traditional cultivation processes.
The grapes are from their own traditional cultivation, coming from the “Los Altos” estate. Once the harvest is done, the grapes are destemmed and allowed to macerate in cold. Fermentation at 27ºC for 10 days and aging in new American oak barrels for 4 months.
Tasting note
Young ruby red. With fruity aromas, balsamic and with tones of chocolate-banana.
In the mouth, its power stands out, where berry flavors are mixed with light spicy tones, fresh aftertaste and very round.
Perfect for any pairing: meat, game, mushrooms, pasta and rice dishes, sausages, poultry, cheeses and even fish.
