Part of the tuna family, bonito del norte is one of the highest quality varieties, known for its exquisite flavor and softer texture compared to other tuna species. The fishing season runs from June to October, when the fish is at its optimal point for capture and consumption. It is also sustainably caught, as certified by the MSC.
