The meat used for making this sobrasada comes from Faixats pigs, a blend of white and black pigs that grow freely in the estate’s pastures. These animals are fed exclusively with barley and beans cultivated on the estate itself, ensuring that the Son Cànaves sobrasada has an authentic, completely natural flavor, characteristic of its origin. This diet based on homegrown crops enhances the purity and ecology of the process, making it a premium ecological sobrasada.

Storage:
The product is vacuum-packed for transport protection. Once received, it is recommended to remove the packaging and store it traditionally by hanging in a cool, dark place. During storage, it may release natural fatty juice and develop white, gray, or green mold on the skin. This is a natural process due to the loss of fat and minerals, and the mold can be washed off without affecting the product.
