Description
Essensaciones imports this rice from Spain, which is grown in the three Valencian provinces, but mainly in the area of the Albufera National Park. “Arroz de Valencia” is the Denomination of Origin that protects and identifies the cultivation of rice in the Valencian Community.
It is used in gastronomy to make traditional Spanish dishes like paella, arroz a banda, black rice, baked rice or rice with crust, among many others.
Tartana’s Bomba and Albufera rice varieties are carefully selected for their exceptional quality and versatility in cooking. Grown sustainably in Valencia’s Albufera, these rice types ensure optimal flavor absorption and a perfect texture in every dish.
Albufera rice, on the other hand, is a hybrid variety between Bomba and Senia, combining the best of both. It stands out for its creamy and slightly sticky texture, making it perfect for soupy and creamy rice dishes such as seafood rice or lobster rice.
Both rice varieties are certified under the “Arroz de Valencia” Denomination of Origin, ensuring their quality and authenticity.
